what you dread likely won't happen

Is something taking up space in your mind that you could try to let go of? I like this reminder from https://t.co/F9QBCEV0ZK. Today I imagined a drum beating in front of me was blowing that stuff out behind & away from me. Can you visualize it your own way? ❤️💙💛 #letitgo pic.twitter.com/vyRDFtSjkE

july 4: holidays are hard

#HolidaysAreHard. We used to do fireworks with my inlaws on the 4th & New Year's. I even kept a list of our favorites so we could try to buy them again the next time — Cracklin' Crawfish! Thunder Road! Now we've lost both Rader and my FIL, Bill. Feeling it today. #wishyouwerehere https://t.co/Roa6RKfMry

one step at a time

Lately it seems like #overwhelm is the state I live in. How about you? Illustrator @nikkimiles_ is on target w/ this advice: one step at a time! I like/need to make checklists so I don’t feel like the ‘to-do’s are swirling around completely out of control. ❤️💙💛 #littlebylittle pic.twitter.com/UbH1yvjPnd

how's your social support system?

I am an #introvert with a small social circle. The deep quality of the relationships is more significant to me than quantity. I am so glad to have those few people in my corner. How’s your social support system? ❤️💙💛 #mentalhealth #community https://t.co/R5vnp8WLfz

remembering the origins of pride

#Pride Month: Rader was deeply concerned about fairness and justice, and we at @RaderWardFound will never stop advocating for the rights of all people. Thanks to @TrevorProject for this post and the work they do on behalf of #lgbtq young folks. 🎨: the wonderful @alyseruriani pic.twitter.com/dqQ9dJGyZH

agree or disagree?

This idea was posted recently by two of my favorites: Jess Bird at https://t.co/jo95f0XhXS, and Dani DiPirro of @positivepresent. Jess wrote a long post with it that you might enjoy if you want to think more about the concept. Do you believe this is true? Why or why not? #foryou pic.twitter.com/vV1ROlmQrX

birthday bounty: new houseplants!

#Birthday bounty! I received two plants yesterday as gifts: this gorgeous #angelwingbegonia and a very nice #aloevera/#aloebarbadensis. Both can be toxic to pets, so I’ve placed them on higher shelves in my #houseplant room. 🌱 #plantcareisselfcare #nurturing #greenthumb pic.twitter.com/sW7hQjjsep

plant care is self care: monstera

#Monstera update: I still have nurturing/mothering energy that needs somewhere to go, and this #houseplant rewards it! Acquired 11/20, repot 4/21. (First pic today; 2&3 bringing it home last November). #plantcareisselfcare #monsteradeliciosa [1/3] pic.twitter.com/dLxd43v0Pk

— Rader Ward Foundation (@RaderWardFound) June 18, 2021

When I repotted the #monstera in April, I transplanted a couple of baby plants to their own pots (see above), but one didn’t have its own roots so it stayed in with the big ones. It’s been putting out solid new leaves, but the latest one is fenestrated! #monsteradeliciosa [3/3] pic.twitter.com/UMCwotvSCS
